Monday 18 June, 14:00-17:00 - Room 714AB
Objectives: To raise participants’ awareness concerning the place of women in legal decisions and the struggle for human rights.
Abstract: The law is a set of rules established by a sovereign authority to govern community life. For many years, it has always been to the disadvantage of women on issues regarding family inheritance, holding of strategic positions or affirmation in political leadership. At a time when the struggle for equality between men and women is beginning to bear fruit, how can women contribute more to the establishment of human rights and the formulation of legal decisions?
