The Women International Trade Fair (SIFEM) will be held in Toronto from 17 to 23 June 2012. It pays tribute to women across the world irrespective of their origin, culture or religion. This unique and original event covers activities, professions as well as good ideas required for the development and well-being of today’s woman.
Organized by SHRVEL Communications Inc. in close collaboration with the Toronto Chamber of Commerce and City Council, SIFEM is a global event that will enable women to share their experiences and build on skills and expertise from all professions, offer participants and personalities in the business world the opportunity to showcase their products, invest in new markets, establish lasting business relationships and strengthen long term partnerships. In addition to promoting trade and creating new opportunities, the purpose of this unique platform is to encourage the discussion of topical issues which are at the center of global socio-economic and women’s concerns.
Beyond this spectacular trade event, the fair also aims to encourage women’s initiatives at the local, national and international levels to improve social cohesion and contribute to the prominence of women in the sectors of influence represented at SIFEM 2012, within a perspective of cooperation, mutual assistance and global solidarity among women.
